Class B ELDT Theory – USAELDT Our Class B Entry-Level Driver Training (ELDT) Theory Course is designed for students earning or upgrading to a Class B CDL. This program meets all FMCSA 49 CFR Part 380 Subpart F requirements and is approved for reporting to the Training Provider Registry (TPR). Students learn how to safely operate straight trucks, dump trucks, buses, and box trucks while mastering defensive driving, hazard recognition, space management, mirror usage, vehicle systems, accident procedures, and federal regulations. The course is 100% online, self-paced, and built with interactive text-based lessons, quizzes, and a final exam. An 80% score is required to pass. Upon completion, your training is reported to FMCSA and you become eligible to schedule your California CDL skills test.
